Mark was my buddy. He had the biggest heart. He was like a brother to so many. Mark was SUPER intelligent. He never put himself above anyone else though and I loved him for (always) taking a step back and explaining his complicated information to me in my terms... lol. When Mark felt he was losing his battle, he found a new passion. I remember talking to Mark on the phone when he first started making his soaps. He had found something in the midst of losing everything else that he loved so much. He must have promised me a dozen times that he was going to send some to me.
Mark's loving partner Greg called me on January 10th 2004 to tell me that we had to let go of Mark. Greg loved Mark so much, he just sobbed on the phone. It was a week later that I received a box on my front door step, from Mark Heilman... my soaps!! LOL
Mark is an angel in heaven who watched over many of us...

| wow, I cannot believe that we are coming up on 5 years since Mark passed away. It seems like yesterday that he e-mailed me with all kinds of pediatric stuff for Isaac. Mark's dad was a doctor, and Mark could have been too! He was brilliant... and I am a better person for having had him in my life!!
I miss you my friend. Thanks for being so wonderful!!!
